‘They crying will be most happiest moment’ – India skipper Rohit Sharma and family receives unreal hate amid rumours around Virat Kohli’s place in T20I squad
India, under the leadership of Skipper Rohit Sharma, is set to face South Africa in two Test series.
After a day full of speculation, the Indian Cricket Board announced the squads for the upcoming all-format tour of South Africa. India skipper Rohit Sharma and star batter Virat Kohli will make a comeback through the Test team as they have been rested in white-ball cricket.
Despite this, rumours about Rohit being India’s skipper in the T20I World Cup while Virat Kohli was sidelined from the team left fans in shock on social media. The news reports surfaced that the board is seeing Ishan Kishan for number 3 instead of Kohli, while Rohit can open along with Yashasvi Jaiswal or Shubman Gill. After the reports, a section of Virat Kohli fans expressed their anger against Rohit.
On social media platforms, Rohit Sharma and his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, have been targeted by hateful and disgraceful comments. Their edited pictures and memes are being shared. This has led to another fan war among the fans of two of the greatest Indian cricketers on social media. It’s worth noting that currently both Rohit and Virat are in foreign countries and enjoying their vacation with family.
Can India win its first-ever Test series in South Africa?
Meanwhile, India, under the leadership of Skipper Rohit Sharma, is set to face South Africa in two Test series. The first game will start on December 26, while the second will be played on January 7, 2024. The series holds immense significance for India as it will be part of the World Test Championship in 2025. The challenge will be big for Rohit and company, as India has never won a Test series in South Africa.
If Rohit manages to lead the team to victory, they will also have a great chance in the WTC table. To prepare for the prestigious series, the Indian team will play a three-day inter-squad game in Johannesburg. India A, along with senior players, will be part of that game. Meanwhile, the team will be playing without key players like Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane.

Being a Kohli fan I would say this is so disrespectful. Our idol doesn't teach us to do such things .If you are a true kohli fan you have to give respect to others as he gives. As a kohli fan I apologised to everyone for such behaviour from another kohli fan.
