SLC Reds will be up against SLC Blues in the final of the SLC Invitational T20 League 2022 today. The match will be played at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo at 7:30 pm (IST).

SLC Reds led by Sri Lanka wicket-keeper batter Kusal Mendis stormed into the SLC Invitational T20 League final as they finished at the top of the points table. With two wins and one defeat, the Reds accumulated four points to top the league standings.
Interestingly, SLC Reds will be making their second consecutive final appearance of the tournament as they had also reached the final of the inaugural season last year. The Reds suffered a 42-run defeat against eventual champions SLC Greys in the summit clash.
Kusal Mendis has been the leading run-scorer in the ongoing T20 tournament, who’s scored 150 runs in three matches at an average of 50 and a strike rate of 122.95. In the bowling department, fast bowler Asitha Fernando has been the leading wicket-taker in the tournament, who’s picked eight wickets in three matches at an economy of 6.58.

Praveen Jayawickrama has been the chief destroyer for the Blues, having bagged five wickets in three matches at an economy of 6.08.
