Umpire Akshay Totre has gained attention on social media as a result of people noticing an eerie likeness between him and prominent Indian batsman Shreyas Iyer. As fans likened the umpire to Shreyas, the meme world erupted.

About the same, several memes and postings about “X” have gained popularity. The photograph that is becoming popular is from the practice match between Pakistan and New Zealand before their third game in Hyderabad.

The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad is presently hosting New Zealand and Pakistan’s pre-ODI World Cup 2023 match. This match is taking place behind closed doors due to safety concerns.

Both Pakistan and New Zealand will want to get their campaigns off to a strong start. Pakistan’s most recent participation was during the Asia Cup 2023, whilst New Zealand entered this match after defeating Bangladesh 2-0.

Two exhibition games will be played by Team India before they compete in the ODI World Cup 2023. The host team’s first practice game will take place on Saturday, September 30, inside the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati against the reigning champions, England.

Inside the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, India will play the Netherlands in its second exhibition game on Tuesday, September 3.

India and Australia’s upcoming schedule for ODI World Cup 2023

On Sunday, October 8, India will take a trip to Chennai to play the ODI World Cup 2023 opener against Australia. The Men in Blue won the three-match ODI series between the two sides by a score of 2-1.

In addition, Australia will compete in two exhibition games before the ODI World Cup 2023. On Saturday, September 30, they will play the Netherlands in Thiruvananthapuram, and on Tuesday, October 3, at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, they will play 1992 world champions Pakistan.

Both teams would be hoping to start their ODI World Cup 2023 campaigns with a win. A win in Chennai for either of the two teams will be an immense confidence booster.
