Rhea Chakraborty recently opened up about her experience after spending nearly a month in jail following the NCB’s filing of charges against her in the drugs case involving Sushant Singh Rajput. Many believed that her imprisonment was excessively severe considering the amount listed in the chargesheet. Rhea Chakraborty discussed all of the difficulties she encountered while incarcerated in an interview with Chetan Bhagat for his programme Deeptalk.
Considering the state of other prisoners around her, Rhea Chakraborty talked about how she managed to get through the phase. Because of COVID regulations, the actress was first detained in a solitary cell for 14 days. On day one, the actress claimed she ate whatever was provided to her because she was so exhausted and hungry. It appears that she consumed capsicum, a simple vegetable cooked in water, along with roti.

Rhea Chakraborty expressed her gratitude after learning that many people lacked support from their families. Some people had neither Rs 5,000 nor Rs 10,000 to save them. She expressed her gratitude to her family and friends. She confided in Chetan Bhagat that she had convinced herself she would eventually get bail and justice. Interviewee Rhea Chakraborty stated that she was certain she had done nothing improper. She chose not to pout or become depressed after reading the motivational tales of her fellow prisoners.
She disclosed that one of the most difficult aspects of surviving in jail was the appalling conditions of the facilities. Rhea Chakraborty was quoted as saying “Mental trauma is so much harder than the physical trauma starts paling in front of it.’Ganda bathroom toh manage kar lungi,’ you think to yourself. The jail appears to have had a canteen and allowed prisoners to get money orders from their residences.” Seems like she received Rs 5,000 from her house. Regarding food and bedtime, Rhea Chakraborty said that the prison’s system was similar to the one established by the British.
Dinner appears to be served at 2 p.m. and breakfast at 6 a.m. Inmates are allowed to leave their cells at 6 a.m. and remain outside until 5 p.m. Most prisoners would eat around 7:30 or 8:00 p.m. However, she adjusted her sleep schedule to ensure that she had dinner in the afternoon. She made sure to tune her body because she knew she couldn’t eat that food when it got cold, she told Chetan Bhagat. The NCB detained the actress for possessing and consuming marijuana.
Actress Rhea Chakraborty acknowledged that she occasionally used marijuana with the late Sushant Singh Rajput. She also disclosed that following the Kedarnath filming, he was purportedly addicted to it.
