Pushpa 2: The Rule, the highly anticipated sequel to Allu Arjun’s 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise, which received the National Award for “Best Actor” and “Best Music Director,” is eagerly awaited by the actor’s fans. The upcoming Telugu film’s creators officially announced the movie’s release date on social media on Monday night. On August 15, 2024, the much-awaited sequel “Pushpa 2: The Rule” will hit theatres.
The film’s production company, Mythri Moviemakers, revealed the sequel’s release date on X, formerly known as Twitter. Fahadh Faasil will reprise his role as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in the Sukumar-directed movie, and Rashmika Mandanna will reprise her role as Molleti Srivalli. The new poster does not show Allu Arjun, but his hand is depicted with blood stains and is decked with rings and bangles.
The production company tweeted, “Mark the date. On August 15, 2024, Pushpa 2: The Rule will be officially released around the world. Box office king Pushpa Raj is returning to rule.” Devi Sri Prasad, the composer who also won the National Award for outstanding music direction (songs) for the first instalment, would also be back for the follow-up.

In a recent special video feature with Instagram, Allu Arjun gave his fans an inside look at the Pushpa: The Rule filming locations. Last month, Instagram posted the video with the comment, “Actor @alluarjunonline (Allu Arjun) needs a chillllll morning before heading to set. The latest action-packed sequel from Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2: The Rule, was shot at one of the biggest film studio complexes in the world.
