Finally, Prabhas‘ highly anticipated film Salaar Part One Ceasefire in Hindi is making its way onto streaming services. The film, which debuted in December of last year, was an enormous hit, grossing over Rs 600 crore globally and bringing the lead actor back to his previous level of performance. Since then, the Hindi version has not been released on OTT; however, the Telugu original and a few dubbed versions have. That is scheduled to change the following week.
Disney+ Hotstar has confirmed that Salaar’s Hindi version will debut on the streaming service on February 16. In addition, the streamer answered fans’ inquiries regarding the film’s release definitively by sharing a teaser for its Hindi OTT release on social media. The caption said, “You called and Salaar is here. Tumne bulaya aur Salaar chala aaya.”

In an announcement regarding the movie’s Hindi premiere, director Prashanth Neel said, “At the end of the day, both are burdened by their own battles, whether you resonate with Vardha’s struggles or Deva’s might. Salaar stands out to me because it’s a story that you can relate to. We are eager to expand the film’s reach and discover a new audience that can relate to the narrative now that it is available on Disney+ Hotstar in Hindi. I for one am very excited to see that!”
The first instalment of the two-part action revenge saga Salaar Part One Ceasefire features Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. In addition to being released in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil, the movie was first filmed in Telugu. The English dub of the Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil versions debuted on Netflix earlier this week, following their releases on the platform last month.
Prabhas, who plays the lead in the movie, comments on its Hindi OTT release, saying, “I am ecstatic to start the year commemorating the triumph of Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire! For us, the process of making this movie has been amazing and emotionally taxing. With the movie’s unmatched global distribution and recent release in Hindi on Disney+ Hotstar, I am eager for viewers to experience this tale.
