After showcasing sparks of his real abilities in the last two games, Sri Lanka batter Avishka Fernando hammered his first ODI century against the West Indies in Durham. Playing without any fear, Fernando hammered a magnificent century as he scored 104 runs off 103 balls with the help of nine fours and a couple of sixes. Riding on his amazing batting performance, Sri Lanka posted a massive total of 338/6 against the West Indies. In the end, Sri Lanka won the game by 23 runs, as Nicholas Pooran’s century failed to propel the West Indies.
