Attacker Vitor Roque of FC Barcelona recently discussed his discussion regarding the Blaugrana with fellow countryman Raphinha. Roque was a summer signing for Barca from Athletico Paranaense, where he played until the end of the Brazilian team’s campaign. Now that he has joined the Spanish powerhouses, he will go up against offensive players like Robert Lewandowski.
The 18-year-old striker recently revealed to him what Raphinha, a Barcelona winger, told him regarding the team. He said, “Only wonderful things. Barça is a fantastic club, a perfect club, where it is easy to learn and work. But also that here the only things that matter are winning, winning and winning.”
The attacker added, “I am coming here very much looking forward to doing things, learning and enjoying myself. I’ve been preparing for this with my personal coach. Every day we’ve been speaking to make sure I arrive in Barcelona in perfect condition.I can’t wait to play with Lewandowski. And with Raphinha too, of course. That’ll be a dream come true.”
After a stellar campaign with Athletico Paranaense, in which he finished with 21 goals as well as eight assists in 45 games throughout all competitions, Roque joined the Blaugrana.
Barcelona, on the other hand, has had difficulty finishing this season due to underperforming players like Lewandowski. They are tied for the fewest goals scored by any of the top five with 34 across 18 La Liga games. Seven points behind toppers Real Madrid in the standings, Xavi Hernandez’s team is in fourth place.

Douglas Luiz, a midfielder for Aston Villa, is being watched by the Catalans as a possible summer acquisition. After Sergio Busquets left on a free transfer in the summer, Barcelona acquired Oriol Romeu from Girona. Romeu has yet to succeed in any of his 19 tournament outings.
Xavi is therefore keen in acquiring a pivot to complement players like Gavi and Ilkay Gundogan across the midfield. Because of Luiz’s impressive performance while at Aston Villa, the Blaugrana have recognised the Brazilian as a possible alternative.
