The Women’s Premier League’s second season will begin on February 23 in Bengaluru with a rematch from the 2023 edition final featuring the Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI). The 2024 season is reportedly scheduled to take place in two cities: Bengaluru and Delhi. The final is scheduled to take place in Delhi on March 17.
Similar to the previous season, there will be 22 games in the 2017 WPL season, with all five clubs playing each other twice. The team with the highest point total at the end of the league schedule will automatically qualify for the championship game. To go to the final, the teams who place second and third against one another in an elimination round will play one other.
All of the games may start in the later hours under the lights because there don’t appear to be any double header matches on the weekend, according to the leaked schedule. The first Women’s Premier League (WPL) was won by the Mumbai Indians (MI), under the direction of Harmanpreet Kaur. In the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, they emerged victorious over the Delhi Capitals (DC), captained by Meg Lanning.

However the Indian Cricket Board is optimistic that the entire league would be played in India.
