The United took to its official website to reveal its jersey. They came up with a description that gave deep insights into the jersey and how it was planned. They revealed that the jersey boasts a crewneck collar inspired by the Zeitgeist fashion culture in the 1991990s0’s.
“The new third kit will be worn for the first time on the pitch in this Saturday’s Premier League away game against Brentford. Truly an eye-catching jersey, its distinguished from our home and away shirts this season thanks to the vibrancy and striking geometric pattern that has been incorporated into the design. It boasts a crewneck collar, which has been designed with a statement graphic design, directly inspired by the Zeitgeist fashion culture of the 1990’s,” United described the jersey on their official website.
Fans spared no chances to troll the legend. A few commented that he looks like a goalkeeper while a few felt that the jersey looked like ‘green grass’. Amid all the trolls, some believe that the legend has given a hint about his stint with Manchester United. Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho are a few others who featured alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
