Royal Challengers Bangalore thrashed Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur.
Former India and Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli has a huge fan following across the globe. Across social media, he has surpassed a lot of cricketers and is only behind a few soccer legends in terms of social media following. Meanwhile, an image of Virat Kohli’s placard has been going viral on social media. Apparently, some fans came up with the idea of drawing Kohli in a solitaire card.

Royal Challengers Bangalore thrashes Rajasthan Royals to strengthen their playoffs chances
Meanwhile, talking about the game, the visitors, RCB won the toss and elected to bat first on a dry surface. They replaced Wayne Parnell replaced Josh Hazlewood while Wanindu Hasaranga made way for Michael Bracewell. For the 2008 winners, Trent Boult made way for Adam Zampa. With the bat, the three-time finalists had a decent start with skipper Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli putting together 50 runs for the first wicket.
After the latter’s wicket fell to KM Asif, the likes of Glenn Maxwell and Du Plessis added another 69 runs. However, after the fall of the RCB skipper, the team faced a mini collapse as they went from 119/1 to 137/5. At this point, former RR player Anuj Rawat scored 29 off 11 balls to take the team to 171/5. For the home side, Zampa and Asif took two wickets each while Sandeep Sharma took one.
In reply, the Pink Brigade had a horrendous start as they lost the wickets of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, and skipper Sanju Samson inside the first 10 balls. They failed to recover from this shocking start and were bowled for 59 runs, losing the game by 112 runs. With this, the Red Army just need to win their remaining games against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans to reach the playoffs.
