Lucknow and Hyderabad will play each other at the D.Y. Patil Stadium on April 4. Both teams have had contrasting seasons so far. Lucknow lost the first game against Gujarat but bounced back against Chennai. On the other hand, Hyderabad was battered and bruised against Rajasthan. Lucknow will be looking forward to continuing on their winning momentum while Hyderabad would like to register their first win.
Lucknow:Â After losing to fellow debutants in their first game, the Men in Mint Green bounced back against Chennai by chasing a target of 211 runs. Jason Holder is back in the setup and he is likely to replace Dushmantha Chameera.
Ayush Badoni -Â The uncapped Indian player has shown great temperament in the league so far. He played a match-winning inning of unbeaten 19 off 9 balls against Chennai. He also scored a 50 in the first game. Expect him to do well in the next game
Avesh Khan -Â The pacer went for 38 runs against Chennai. However, he can wreak havoc on the batters with his extra pace.
Probable XI:Â KL Rahul (c), Quinton de Kock (wk), Manish Pandey, Evin Lewis, Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, Krunal Pandya, Jason Holder, Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi, Andrew TyeÂ
Hyderabad:Â They were badly hammered by Rajasthan in their opening game. However, it is highly unlikely that the team will make changes just after their first game. They have Marco Jansen and it will be interesting to see if the team given him a chance.
Kane Williamson – The skipper got out on the score of two against Rajasthan, although fans perceive that he was given out unfairly. Expect him to do well against Lucknow as he is batting at one of the best position in T20s, i.e opening slot.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar -Â Kumar on most occasions get the wicket with the new ball. Lucknow has a long batting and wickets upfront is mandatory. Kumar will be a key player for his side.
Probable XI:Â Kane Williamson (c), Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran (wk), Abdul Samad, Romario Shepherd/Marco Jansen, Washington Sundar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, T Natarajan
