‘Laut aao Shushant’ – Fans react as makers decide to re-release MS Dhoni’s biopic on May 12th

The film, directed by Neeraj Pandey, was released in 2016 and followed the life of former India cricketer and national team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Former India skipper MS Dhoni is one of the most celebrated cricketers in the world. He has been phenomenal throughout his career and has led India to glory in all formats. The Ranchi-born has been one of the most successful captains in the history of Indian cricket. However, his life has been full of hurdles, and faced many ups and downs in his journey. Showcasing his journey a film named “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story” was released in 2016.

However, after seven years the film is set to be re-released in theaters for the fans. Makers informed that Dhoni’s biopic starring Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput will be re-released in theaters on May 12. “Jab Mahi phir pitch pe aayega, pura India sirf “Dhoni! Dhoni! Dhoni!” chilaayega. M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story Re-Releasing in cinemas on 12th May,“ tweeted Star Studios.

Bikram Duggal, Head – of Studios, Disney Star, said in a statement, “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has not only been an incredibly special film for Star Studios but also for Indians all over the world, showcasing the inspiring journey of our most successful cricket captain. The re-release aims to give his fans across the country another chance to relive cricket’s most magical moments on the big screen.”

Sushant Singh Rajput will make a comeback on the big screen

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been awarded various awards for his amazing performance in the film. He will make a comeback in the theatre with a superhit film and it will be a treat for his fans to witness his performance once again. Notably, Sushant allegedly hung himself on June 14 in 2020. He was allegedly in depression due to various reasons.
