‘Kuch bhi karlo, Ee janam cup nahin’ – Fans react to viral image of Chinnaswamy Stadium’s outfield getting renovated
Chinnaswamy Stadium will host the World Cup 2023 games later this year.
Bangalore’s Chinnaswamy Stadium is going through a renovation phase. An image of the outfield going under the same has been going viral on social media. Recently, the ground hosted the home games of three-time IPL finalists, Royal Challengers Bangalore. In the last league of the ongoing IPL 2023, fans at the venue witnessed Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill hitting hundreds for RCB and Gujarat Titans respectively.
The latter’s hundred ensured that RCB lost and crashed out of the tournament. On the other hand, GT’s win ensured that the five-time winners, Mumbai Indians reached the playoffs. Notably, the Titans thrashed MI in Qualifier Two on May 26 by 62 runs. Meanwhile, after the image of the stadium’s renovation has gone viral, fans have given their two cents on it.

Increase the boundary size, for the upcoming world cup….it's boring if there is no contest between bat and ball, also RCB should think about this, instead of home ground advantage, they are losing at home ground.@BCCI @RCBTweets

Chinnaswamy needs a stadium renovation with all New stands and spectator comfort, not cattle class seats and 10 VIP boxes, each fan should be treated as a VIP by BCCI
