Former India skipper Virat Kohli had a decent outing in the ongoing second Test against Australia in Delhi. After facing a flurry of failures in the last one and a half years in Tests, he scored a valiant 44 runs. However, when he looked like scoring a big hundred, he was given out. The replays suggested that the ball was hitting the bat and front pad at the same time.

As per the rules, the batter must be given not out, either by the on-field umpire or third umpire. However, it seems that neither of them knew the rules. Both went on to give it not out. This created a massive uproar on social media with a lot of them bashing Nitin Menon, the on-field umpire. Meanwhile, after a while, Kohli was seen having a tense discussion with head coach Rahul Dravid.

During this, the former was seen clapping his hands in happiness. On the other hand, Dravid had his usual stoic happiness. Meanwhile, this incident also reminds the fans about an interview. In 2017, the former India skipper spoke about his love for Chloe Bhature (Fried Flatbreads)

Eating Chloe Bhature from Ram in Rajouri Garden is a must: Virat Kohli

In the interview, he was asked about which food he would eat as a cheat meal. The 2008 U19 World Cup-winning skipper said that food item must be eaten at the maker’s place of business. The Delhi player added that if the item is brought home, they won’t taste as per the expectations

“Ram’s Chole Bhature in Rajouri Garden 110 per cent. That too, I’ll go to his shop and have it, not take away. By the time it comes home, it’s not a bhatura anymore. It feels like a stale bread. Fresh bhatura’s where you pop a hole with your finger along with some onions, mint chutney and some pepper pickle,” Kohli had explained on an episode of ‘Breakfast with Champions’ in November 2017.
