Veteran Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli recently lost his brand new phone, even before he had the chance to unbox it. He took to Twitter to reveal his issue. However, an Indian food delivery brand Zomato took this opportunity to market its services.

“Nothing beats the sad feeling of losing your new phone without even unboxing it. Has anyone seen it?” Virat Tweeted. Zomato took this opportunity to market themselves as they replied asking Virat to order ice cream using “bhabhi’s phone”.  “Feel free to order ice cream from bhabhi’s phone if that will help,” they replied.

Here is Zomato’s reply to Virat Kohli

Reacting to this, fans on Twitter were quick to troll the Indian food delivery platform. “Zomato never leaves any bit of chance to promote…” wrote a user. “Re Zomatwa tum bahot barka khachar ho gya hai….. Kahe tum fitness kharab karne pr lge hue ho,” wrote another. “Agar Icecream bhi Gayab ho gya to,” wrote a third.

In the meantime, Virat will be next seen in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The four-match Test series against Australia will begin on the 9th of February. The Vidarbha Stadium in Nagpur will host the first match of the series.

The pitch curators have been accused of preparing rank turners to give the hosts an unfair advantage in the series. Many former and current Australian players have previously spoken out against pitches prepared in India.

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is currently held by India. The Indian team has won the last three series against Australia in 2017, 2018-19, and 2020-21. Australia, on the other hand, is aiming to win a Test series in India for the first time since 2004.

The Test Championship finalists will also be influenced by the series. While Australia is almost certain to make the final, India must win the series in order to play in the semifinals for the second time.
