On September 7, the Hindi version of the film had an overall occupancy rate of 58.67%. The highest occupancy rate was reported with 69.34 per cent during night performances, and the lowest was during morning shows with 46.11 per cent. The afternoon and nighttime performances received 54.27 and 64.94 per cent, respectively. The movie had the highest occupancy in Chennai, with 81% in the Hindi version, and the lowest in Surat, with 44.50%.
Jawan achieved a 55.80 per cent occupancy in Tamil and a 76.06 per cent occupancy in Telugu. Even before it hit theatres, the film garnered traction. On day one, the Jawan film sold 5,57,000 tickets across national chains. According to trade expert Taran Adarsh, the movie has sold 4,48,000 tickets in PVR + INOX and 1,09,000 tickets in Cinepolis.
