‘Jalte hain humse kya karein’ – Fans react to Irfan Pathan taking cheeky dig at Pakistan fans after India’s T20I series loss against West Indies

Former Team India bowling all-rounder took no prisoners as he dealt with some Pakistan fans trolling him on Twitter

India suffered a major blow since they failed to win the five-match T20I series as they lost 2-3 after earlier defeating the West Indies in the Test and ODI series. With two wins in a row after falling behind 0-2 in the series, Hardik Pandya and company were able to rally and maybe win the series. That wasn’t the case, though, as the West Indies won due to their smart stroke play and strong bowling.

Irfan Pathan, the former all-rounder for India, praised the West Indies team for their historic 3-2 series victory and advised the Indian team management to reflect on their loss to a lower-ranked opponent. He said, “Congratulations to the West Indies team on a well-deserved series win! Team India must reflect on this defeat, as losing to a lower-ranked team is indeed worrisome.”

Pakistan fans were back again at their trolling as they made sure the Indian team and the Indian cricket fans were made aware about the fact that they lost to a side that was going through a significant downfall. Irfan Pathan did not hold himself back and took to twitter and made a slight comment about the Pakistani fans trolling the Indian team and fans. He wrote, “Begaani Shadi mein Abdulla deewana… #sunday #padosi”

The ‘Men in Blue’ batted first upon winning the toss and swiftly lost their young openers. India managed to score a respectable score of 165/9 in 20 overs thanks in large part to Suryakumar Yadav’s spirited 61 off 45 balls. Tilak Varma once again made an impression with a gallant 18-ball 27, but he couldn’t capitalize on the start.

Jason Holder as well as Akeal Hosein each took two wickets, while Romario Shepherd stood untouched with the ball, capturing four. The Caribbean nation won the contest by eight wickets with just two overs remaining thanks to an undefeated 55-ball 85 from Brandon King, who was currently having a quiet series. Nicholas Pooran, who has been in great form, also did well by hitting a 35-ball 47.
