Jake Fraser-McGurk and Wes Agar set to make T20I debut in 3rd T20I vs West Indies in Perth

jgs

The Australia vs West Indies T20I series has so far been a one-sided affair, where Australia are the ones that have come out on top. There have been two high-scoring games where a total of over 200 were set in both games. The West Indies just about fell short in the 1st game by 11 runs. The second game is just another one-sided affair with a Glenn Maxwell masterclass. The West Indians have not lived up to the expectations in the white ball series against Australia after their famous victory at the GABBA in the second match Test series.

The West Indies have already lost the ODI series by 3-0 and have already lost the T20I series, where they are losing both their games on the trot. All they can do is try to get a consolation victory in the last T20I in Perth. Meanwhile, Australia will be looking for another clean-sweep victory and will be confident in their squad. Everything is looking good for the Aussie side where they are already winning the series and are playing like real-world champions. The 3rd T20I will still be a match they will want to win and completely dominate the West Indies in the series with another 3-0 victory.

Wes Agar and Jake Fraser-McGurk to make their debut in T20I’s

With Josh Hazelwood going home to prepare for the upcoming tour against New Zealand, there are two new additions to the squad right now. The two inclusions are the upcoming batter giving great performances for the Melbourne Renegades Jake Fraser-McGurk who last featured in the Aussie side in the 3rd One day where he scored 41 from 18 deliveries and Wes Agar will also make a comeback into the side after 3 years as well. Wes Agar has also given some great performances in the Big Bash League(BBL) as well and will be looking to establish himself in the team as well.

What makes it even more exciting is both these players are South Australians as well and will have a great camaraderie and experience while playing with each other. These two players will want to make the most of this opportunity in this last match of the series. There is no doubt that both these individuals are some of the most talented players in the domestic circuit already, but they will still be under pressure playing their first game against a team full of powerful strikers in the West Indies team.
