After a break of almost a month, the India Cricket team is ready to start a new chapter in the form of WTC 2023-25. In the last two cycles of the World Test Championships, the Asian side made it to the final but lost to New Zealand (2021) and Australia (2023). After the WTC Final loss, the team faced heavy criticism as once again, the team missed out on a World title.
After this, due to the indefinite postponement of India’s white-ball series against Afghanistan, the team had a month-long break after the WTC Final 2023 on June 11. Meanwhile, former India skipper Virat Kohli can be seen playing a reverse sweep in the net session against Ravichandran Ashwin. Apart from Ashwin, Kohli faced Jaydev Unadkat and Ravindra Jadeja in a video that is going viral.

India squad for the West Indies tour 2023
As of now, the Test and ODI squad for the series has been announced. Both teams will be led by Rohit Sharma. The T20I squad is yet to be announced as for now. Talking about the series, it consist of two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is. Mukesh Kumar has gotten his maiden India call-up alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal.
