An intriguing cast is being assembled by the creators of Bhool Bhulaiyaa for the third installment of the horror-comedy series. Following Vidya Balan’s comeback as Manjulika, a fresh teaser was released. Kartik Aaryan asked fans to guess the actress who appears in a picture of puzzle pieces that he shared, implying that she is a cast member.
Fans identified Triptii Dimri right away; she became well-known after costarring with Ranbir Kapoor in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. It is true, in fact. The message read, “#Bb3MysteryGirl #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 #Diwali2024. Solve kijiye Is Bhool Bhulaiyaa ko.” Remarkably, in the second instalment, Kiara Advani was paired opposite Kartik Aaryan.
Kartik posted a montage of his “Ami Je Tomar” dance performance from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and the original Vdiya Balan’s performance from Bhool Bhulaiyaa last week. Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal sing a duet version of the song that is featured in the video. Kartik Aaryan shared the video on Instagram and wrote, “And it’s happening, Og Manjulika is returning to the world of BhoolBhulaiyaa. Grateful to have @balanvidya join us ???#BhoolBhulaiyaa3 @aneesbazmee @tseries.official #BhushanKumar will be crackling this Diwali.”

Earlier this month, actor Vidya Balan, who portrayed Manjulika in the 2007 psychological horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, returned to the franchise. Kartik, who played the lead in the second instalment and will return in the third, greeted Vidya warmly. Kartik also released an edited version of the video, which combined shots of Vidya’s well-known Manjulika from the first instalment with images of Kartik from the second part. Anees Bazmee, who oversaw the second segment, will direct the third. In the first part, which was directed by Priyadarshan, Vidya and Akshay Kumar starred.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which delves deeper into this enigmatic world and skillfully blends suspense and comedy, looks to be an absolute entertainer, much like the previous two films, which were huge hits at the box office. “The ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchise holds a special place in our hearts, and I’m very happy to be taking it forward with a creative mind like Anees and an incredible talent like Kartik,” Bhushan Kumar had previously said, expressing his excitement about the third instalment.
