‘Itna bura time New Zealand par’ – Fans react as Bangladesh bowl out New Zealand for 98, win by nine wickets
Bangladesh Men’s team has won their first ever ODI in New Zealand.
In the third and last ODI of the ongoing Bangladesh tour of New Zealand, the Asian side has managed to salvage some pride. In the first two games, the Green Brigade didn’t win although they did well in patches. Ahead of the third match, the Tigers needed to win to avoid a clean sweep. In this game, the visitors won the toss and elected to bowl first.
They had a great start after taking two wickets for 22 runs with the wickets of Rachin Ravindra and Henry Nicholls. At this stage, the likes of skipper Tom Latham and Will Young put together 36 runs for the home team. After this partnership was broken, the team was bowled out for 98 runs as they kept losing wickets. For the visitors, Shoriful Islam, Soumya Sarkar, and Tanzim Hasan took three wickets each.
