Apart from the results in the ongoing Indian Premier League, in the last few days, one of the biggest debates is about the fight between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir. Everyone is trying to speculate about the real reason behind the banter. Meanwhile, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh came up with a cheeky remark and called both Gambhir and Kohli to calm down.
In a recent social media post Yuvraj said, “I think #Sprite should sign #Gauti (Gautam Gambhir) and #Cheeku (Virat Kohli) for their campaign #ThandRakh what say guys? @GautamGambhir @imVkohli @Sprite.” Notably, both Gambhir and Kohli have a long history of clashes as both have been seen having heated arguments while playing franchise cricket. In 2013, while playing for KKR Gambhir had a verbal spat with Kohli who was the new skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore.
After their abusive clash in the IPL 2023, former RCB captain Kohli and LSG coach Gambhir were penalised 100% of their match fees. The Indian Premier League has penalised them 100% of their match money for violating Article 2.21 of the IPL code of conduct. Kohli made a sneaky jab at Gambhir in a video broadcast by RCB on YouTube after his disruptive public attitude towards LSG players. “That’s a sweet victory, boys.” A satisfying victory. Naveen-Ul-Haq fought with Virat Kohli too
Aside from his on-field spat with Gambhir, the former RCB captain also clashed with LSG bowler Naveen-ul-Haq and batter Kyle Mayers. Former India opener, Gautam Gambhir acted as a pacifier by removing Mayers, who had a furious discussion with Kohli during Bangalore’s IPL 2023 victory against Lucknow. However, during the game, Kohli had an abusive argument with Naveen which further escalated as Kohli pointed his shoes towards the youngster.
After their on-field arguments, Kohli, once again, poked Naveen after winning the game and that triggered the Afghani superstar. Naveen pushed Kohli’s hands and said a few words to him. After that when KL Rahul tried to calm things down Naveen refused to talk to Virat Kohli and didn’t stop there for the discussion.
