Virat Kohli took the internet by storm on Thursday when he shared a glimpse of his Class 10th mark sheet just days before the start of the Indian T20 League 2023 season. The former Indian captain is currently practising with the Bangalore team ahead of the cash-rich league’s 16th edition.
“It’s funny how the things that add the least to your marksheet, add the most to your character,” Kohli captioned his post on the Koo app. The image he shared has been doing rounds all over the internet. Kohli received the highest score in English (83), followed by 81 in Social Science, 75 in Hindi, 74 in introductory IT, 55 in Science and Technology, and 51 in Mathematics.
The 34-year-old, who has been in excellent form since ending his century drought in all three formats, will play for the Bangalore team against the Mumbai Indians on April 2. After 2019, this will be their first home game at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Kohli has been a franchise mainstay for many years now. He has scored many match-winning runs for them. However, his form dipped last season, and he only managed 341 runs at a strike rate of 115.99. However, the batter has been in good form in international cricket before this tournament. “If I am able to get to the level I want to play at and help the team, it will be exciting,” he had said recently.
Meanwhile, Glenn Maxwell is expected to miss the team’s first match in the Indian T20 League 2023. The star all-rounder is still recovering from a leg injury sustained in a freak accident in November of last year. Maxwell returned to international cricket earlier this month during India and Australia’s one-day international series, but he missed the final two games.
