Suresh Raina announced the launch of his latest Indian restaurant in Amsterdam last month. Apart from his expertise on the cricket pitch, Suresh Raina is known for his fondness for food. He was beyond ecstatic upon the launch of his own restaurant. He took to Twitter and wrote, “I am absolutely ecstatic to introduce Raina Indian Restaurant in Amsterdam, where my passion for food and cooking takes center stage! Over the years, you’ve seen my love for food and witnessed my culinary adventures, and now, I am on a mission to bring the most authentic and genuine flavours from different parts of India straight to Europe’s heart.”

Stay tuned for tantalizing updates, sneak peeks of our mouthwatering creations, and the grand unveiling of Raina Indian Restaurant!” he further added. Now, in the latest update, Suresh Raina’s restaurant walls exhibit a framed MS Dhoni jersey. Notably, the two played together for several seasons in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise.

Talking of Suresh Raina’s illustrious career, he has always been a reliable top-order batsman who played for India in 18 Tests, 226 ODIs, and 78 T20Is, totalled more than 7,000 runs in all three competitions. In addition, he participated in every IPL season between 2008 and 2021, with the exception of 2020, when he returned to India from the UAE, where the IPL was held as a result of Covid. Over 5500 runs have been scored by Raina in 205 IPL games, including an undefeated century. The Indian cricketer represented Uttar Pradesh in national competitions and played for CSK and Gujarat Lions in the IPL.
At the same time, MS Dhoni led CSK to their record-equalling fifth IPL title in IPL 2023. However, Suresh Raina did not play a part in the recent iteration of the competition. While many doubted this could be MS Dhoni’s last IPL, he surprised everyone when he talked of working hard and returning for another season.
