‘Is Brian Lara’s account hacked’ – Twitter trolls Brian Lara and Hyderabad as he urges fans to vote for a Bigg Boss Telegu contestant on his Instagram Story
Brian Lara replaced Tom Hoody as Hyderabad’s head coach for the Indian T20 League 2023.
Recently, former West Indies skipper Brian Lara was appointed as the head coach of Hyderabad for the 2023 Indian T20 League. He replaced Tom Moody who was doing the job for the last few years. He has part ways with the team mutually after becoming the director of Desert Vipers International League T20. Moody did two stints with the Orange Army, (2013 to 2019), and 2022.
Lara, on the other hand, joined the team last year as a mentor. Now, he has been promoted as the head coach. Meanwhile, the left-hander has become a butt of jokes due to recent Instagram activity. Apparently, he posted a story related to a TV reality show Bigg Boss Telegu. For the unversed, it is a game show where contestants stay in a house for a considerable period.
Lara posted an Instagram story in which he urged the fans to vote for a specific contestant. It is rather unusual to see an overseas player showing interest in the game show which is not very popular among Indians. Meanwhile, a Twitter user took a screenshot of the story and uploaded it on the micro-blogging website.

After this, a lot of Hyderabad fans started trolling the legendary player and the franchise. One of them even urged the franchise to increase Lara’s payroll so that he doesn’t have to resort to promoting less-popular TV shows.
