#1. Travis Head –
If Punjab Kings want to win IPL 2024, why not go for the biggest fish in the Auctions? Travis Head is priced at INR 2 Crores but this will not stop Punjab Kings from going for the Australian opener. #2. Siddharth Kaul –
The 33-year-old Indian pacer hasn’t played IPL cricket since 2022 when he was part of RCB. The Bangalore franchise released Siddharth Kaul and the pacer has priced himself at INR 50 Lakhs. Ahead of the IPL 2024 auctions, Punjab Kings might look at Kaul as a valuable backup option considering his knowledge of the conditions in Mohali.
#3. Gerald Coetzee –
Kagiso Rabada could be joined by his fellow South African pacer Gerald Coetzee during the IPL 2024 auctions. The 23-year-old will be involved in a huge bidding war for his signature after an amazing performance in the ODI World Cup 2023 tournament.
#4. Shardul Thakur –
Not many remember that Shardul Thakur made his IPL debut with the Punjab franchise. In what could be a sweet twist of fate, Punjab Kings might want to buy Shardul Thakur during the IPL 2024 Auctions. The conditions in Mohali might suit the 32-year-old with his swing bowling and decent lower-order batting.
#5. Michael Bracewell –
The Kiwi player could be one of the shrewdest buys for Punjab Kings during the IPL 2024 auctions in Dubai. Michael Bracewell is not only a handy off-spin bowler but also a devastating batter towards the back end of the innings. If Punjab Kings can land the Kiwi he will be a huge factor as far as finishing the games is concerned.
