The two Indian cricketing legends, Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar, have been invited to the ceremonies slated for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024.
In August 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was there to lay the foundation stone. Being the first to receive an invitation, he is probably going to attend the pran pratishtha event with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath. A number of dignitaries are receiving their invites. The bookings and invitations are being taken care by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra.
Ratan Tata, Gautam Adani, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Mukesh Ambani, and a few writers are expected to be invited as per the Print news piece. There will probably be some 6,000 priests as well as saints present on these auspicious occasion .
Not to mention, work on the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is moving along very quickly. One thousand workers were sent in on December 3rd to finish the temple’s initial phase of construction. The goal is to get this work completed by December 31st.
Will Virat Kohli make it to Ayodhya?
Whether or not Kohli has the ability to attend the event will be intriguing to observe. Morevor, just three days later, on January 25, India and England would begin a home Test series. It is still possible for Kohli to attend the ceremony and then return to Hyderabad for the game. In the middle of January, India and Afghanistan play three T20Is, however Kohli may be rested throughout the series.
Kohli will not be there for the white-ball contests in South Africa since he is taking a break from cricket. In the two Test matches against the Proteas, he will make a comeback to the Indian team.
In the 2023 version of the international tournament, Kohli scored the most runs in an ODI World Cup in history. Despite India’s 6 wicket defeat in the final against Australia, Kohli’s outstanding batting performance earned him the honour of Player of the Tournament.

Bhagwan Ram is a symbol of leadership, dedication, resilience, strong sense of duty & maintaining calm composure under pressure.
Sachin & Virat have also shown such qualities in their human limitations.
