Delhi and Lucknow will face each other at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on May 1. When the last time both teams played each other in the ongoing season, Lucknow emerged as the winner. Talking about both teams’ journey in the tournament, both have had a slightly different season so far. The Rishabh Pant-led side has won four and lost as many while the Indian T20 League debutants have won six and lost three. Both teams are coming off wins in their last games and would be looking to carry the momentum as the race to playoffs is getting tighter.
Delhi:Â The team is coming off an impressive win against Kolkata. In that game, the bowlers did well but the batting struggled a bit. In a chase of a mere 146, Delhi needed a cameo from Rovman Powell to take them home. Currently, the team’s batting is highly dependent on Warner and Prithvi Shaw. They would like other batters to fire as well. Meanwhile, expect them to go with an unchanged XI.
David Warner:Â The opening batter has been in magnificent form with the bat with three fifties in the season. In fact, he has been one of the mainstays of the batting alongside Shaw. He has scored 261 runs in six games at an average of 52.20.
Kuldeep Yadav:Â The left-arm writs spinner has been in terrific form in the last few games. He has been putting the lid on the opposition scoring with important wickets in the middle overs. He could be a game-changer in the next game as the race to purple cap gets stiffer.
Probable XI:Â Prithvi Shaw, David Warner, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Mitchell Marsh, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel, Rovman Powell, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Mustafizur Rahman, Chetan Sakariya
Lucknow:Â The team is coming off a win in their last game against Punjab. Their batting struggled in the last game as they kept losing wickets in the regular intervals. In the end, they could only post 153-8, which looked just about par. However, the bowlers were right on the money and helped Lucknow defend the target. The team should go in with un unchanged playing XI.
KL Rahul: The skipper of the team is leading from the front with with two hundreds in the season. Overall, he is the second highest run scorer with 374 runs in 9 games. He will be a key player for the Lucknow team.
Jason Holder: The all-rounder has been one of the greatest additions in the team. Be it with the bat or ball, he has the skills to win the game on his own. Lucknow will be expecting a decent show from Holder in the next game.
Probable XI:Â KL Rahul (c), Quinton de Kock (wk), Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, Jason Holder, Dushmantha Chameera, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohsin Khan, Avesh Khan

Pitch Report:Â The last few matches at the Wankhede Stadium has helped the spinners, making life difficult for the batters. The pitch is slowing up as a lot of games have been played on the venue already. With no pace, the batters have struggled to hit big shots. Once again, we could see bowlers dominating the game.
