The ongoing season of the Indian T20 League has been full of entertainment. There has been some brilliant batting, bowling, and fielding performances in the 15th season so far. On April 10, the 2016 winners, Hyderabad uploaded the video of their wicketkeeper-batter Nicholas Pooran singing ‘Tu Jaane Naa’. Pooran was seen lip syncing with the lyrics perfectly.

In the video, he was traveling with the teammates in the team bus and was sitting alongside Shreyas Gopal. Meanwhile, the video was uploaded ahead of their next game against Gujarat, to be played on April 11. Talking about the song, it was sung by Pakistan singer Atif Aslam and featured in the Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani’ movie. The post was captioned – “West Indian idol #OrangeArmy #ReadytoRise.”

Talking about the performances of the Trinidadian, he has returned with the figures of 0, 34, and 5 not out in the three games they played. These numbers are not meeting the expectations the team must be having with the left-hander. He was bought at 10.75 crores after battling with Chennai and Kolkata in the auction. Also, the team struggled in the first two games as they lost to Rajasthan and Lucknow respectively However, they defeated defending champions Chennai on April 9.

However, they will now play Gujarat, who hasn’t lost a single game in the tournament so far. They are placed third on the points table. On the other hand, the Orange Army is on the eighth spot with only two points in their name. It will be interesting to see if Hyderabad manages to ride on their newly earned winning momentum or Gujarat registers another win in the tournament.

Pooran, on the other hand, will be looking to justify the price tag of 10.75 crores INR with his match-winning performance in the upcoming game.
