After losing the World Test Championship 2023 final, India will have a month-long break before beginning their 2023-25 WTC Final. The Asian side lost the final by a long margin of 209 runs. Meanwhile, after the break, the team will start their 2023-25 cycle against the West Indies. The series will consist of two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is in July and August this year.
Talking about Tests, that will be part of the WTC cycle 2023-25 for both teams. The ODIs will be part of their preparation for the ODI World Cup in India. Before this series, the Maroon Brigade will play the 2023 ODI World Cup qualifier. They are expected to play in the final to qualify for the tournament. If this doesn’t happen, the series will lose its charm.
Talking about the T20I series, both teams will look to build their squads for the 2024 20-20 World Cup that will be played in the Caribbean and the USA. The last two games will be played in Florida, USA.
