A complaint was filed against her by advocate Vineet Jindal

According to reports, Zainab Abbas, a sports broadcaster from Pakistan, was expelled from India due to a “disputed case.” This sad occurrence, according to a local media site, happened after Indian attorney Vineet Jindal filed a legal complaint against Zainab, citing a number of previous tweets that reappeared on the social media network ‘X’ formerly known as Twitter. It is said that the substance of these posts is “anti-Hindu” in character.

Jindal asserts that Zainab’s current active X account, “ZAbbas Official,” which was formerly known as “Zainablovesrk,” is where the allegedly anti-Hindu tweets were initially sent.

Vineet sent Zainab a duplicate of the lawsuit that was filed against her for making disparaging remarks about Hinduism and for making anti-Bharat slurs. The attorney also requested that she be taken from the list of speakers for the ongoing major cricket event from the Indian Cricket Board as well as the apex cricket council.

The complaint was also mentioned on Twitter as Vineet wrote with the following caption. He said, “Complaint against @ZAbbasOfficial filed by Advocate & Social Activist @vineetJindal19 with cyber cell Delhi Police. Requesting to lodge FIR under section 153A,295,506,121 IPC and sec67 IT Act for making derogatory remarks for Hindu faith and beliefs and for anti-Bharat statements. Zainab must be removed from list of presenters on immediate basis from the World Cup. Anti-Bharat people are not welcome in Bharat. @HMOIndia @ianuragthakur @JayShah #CricketWorldCup #icccricketworldcup2023 #Pakistan #Hindus #Bharat #WorldCup2023 #ArrestZainab.”

“Humbled to be presenting in India at the Cricket WC2023”: Zainab Abbas

Zainab said before leaving for India that she was eager to spend the next six weeks. She wrote about learning about Indian culture despite the two nations’ divergent religious views. On X, she wrote:

“There was always intrigue on what lies on the other side, more cultural similarities than differences, rivals on the field but camaraderie off the field, the same language & love for art & a country with a billion people, here to represent, to create content & bring in expertise from the best in the business. Humbled to be presenting in India at the Cricket WC2023 for the Apex Council again, a journey away from home of 6 weeks starts now.”
