Former India and RCB skipper, Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly had a weird moment when DC and RCB played each last month. Apparently, in the game played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, the former was captured giving death stares to Ganguly. On the other hand, the former Indian Cricket Board president, Ganguly avoided shaking hands with Kohli after the game ended.
This story became the most talked about for a while. Meanwhile, both teams will play each other in the reverse fixture in the ongoing IPL 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. Ahead of the game, both teams are in the playoffs race with the Capitals keeping their hopes alive after beating Gujarat Titans recently. However, the most talked about rivalry among the fans is between Kohli and Ganguly.
Apparently, since the former’s ODI captaincy fiasco in late 2021, both aren’t believed to be on talking terms. Not to forget, Ganguly avoided Kohli in the previous game. Meanwhile, ahead of the reverse fixture, the two-time World Cup-winning captain for India was seen doing weightlifting. The right-hander uploaded the video on Twitter and the fans can’t keep calm.

Virat Kohli scoring a century will be a great tribute to Dada: S Sreesanth
Meanwhile, former India pacer S Sreesanth has said that if Kohli scores a century against DC, it will be a great tribute to Dada (Sourav Ganguly). Apparently, the TV rights holders of the tournament are milking on the silent rivalry between Kohli and Ganguly. Talking about the three-time finalists, RCB, they have won five out of nine games and are in fifth spot in the points table.
On the other hand, the 2020 finalists have managed only three wins in nine games. However, after winning against table toppers, GT, they have managed to keep their playoff hopes alive.
“Virat Kohli scoring a century against Delhi Capitals will be a great tribute to Dada,” Sreesanth said on Star Sports
