Smriti Mandhana as well as Shafali Varma were dismissed as they both attempted to up the ante. However, India still managed to hunt down the target in under 9 overs with the help of Jemimah Rodrigues. This win has helped the Indian side to reach the final and guarantee themselves at least a silver medal.
India would be hoping for a gold in their maiden Asian Games 2023 participation. They would be facing the winner of the other semi-final between Pakistan or Sri Lanka. Indian fans would be hoping they get to face their arch-rivals Pakistan in the final.
