Following Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif, and Kajol, Alia Bhatt’s deepfake video has gone viral. Alia’s morphed face video is being shared across all social media platforms. It has called into question the use of artificial intelligence. In the video, Alia Bhatt’s face is superimposed over the face of another woman. A manipulated video of Alia Bhatt has surfaced online, adding to the growing list of deepfake scandals. In the video, a girl gestures to the camera while wearing a blue floral co-ord set with Alia’s face on it.
A manipulated video of Kajol also went viral a few days ago. The original video was shared by TikTok influencer Rosie Breen as part of the ‘Get Ready With Me’ trend. In the deepfake, Breen’s face was replaced with Kajol’s. The actor from ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ was seen changing clothes in front of the camera in the video. The new video comes amid growing concern about deepfake following the virality of Rashmika Mandanna’s video.
Alia Bhatt’s morphed video goes viral:
This #deepfake video of Alia Bhatt has gone viral in which #AliaBhatt seems to be a victim. These sites should be banned because it will defame anyone. So I request the government to ban such sites. And strictest action should be taken against whoever posted such edited video. pic.twitter.com/TynmlJEU6P

Rashmika Mandanna spoke out earlier this month about her viral deepfake video. Taking it to her official social media handle, Rashmika wrote, “I feel really hurt to share this and have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online. Something like this is truly frightening, not just for me, but for all of us who are now vulnerable to so much harm as a result of how technology is being abused.” In response to another tweet about the same video, Amitabh Bachchan stated, “Yes, this is a strong case for legal.”
Meanwhile, for her web debut, Darlings, Alia Bhatt recently won Best Actor in the Web Original Film category at the Filmfare OTT Awards.
