Dawid Wiese was an active part of the South Africa squad and due to a lack of opportunities and signing of a Kolpak deal with Sussex, the player eventually moved to Nambia in 2021, which gave him the best platform to play freely, the sport that he has loved since his childhood.
Eventually, Wiese represented the Namibian team in the 20-20 World Cup 2021 and went on to carry on with his stint in the 2022 edition as well. It remains to be seen if the talented player would carry on for long, given that the player is 37 years old.
