In 19 T20I that he has played for the country, the Mumbai batter has scored 537 runs at an eye-watering strike rate of 177.23. His valuation for the team is more apparent when you know that none of the Indian batters who have played more than 10 T20I matches has a strike rate of over 150.

He also led the Indian side to a 2-0 T20I series win against Ireland. Not only has he regained his form but also gained leadership skills that would be very helpful to the Indian side going forwards.
Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal is probably the best bowler when it comes to breaking partnerships. There are often times when two opposing batters are taking the game away from India when Yuzi is brought into action.
The right-arm spinner was the highest wicket-taker in this season’s Indian T20 League with 27 wickets in 17 matches. He would be instrumental to India’s chances in the upcoming T20I World Cup later this year.
