Bhuvneshwar Kumar has had a difficult time with injuries and has often been in and out of the team for a couple of years. His recent form, starting with the Indian T20 League however has been immense.
In the Indian T20 League 2022, he took 12 wickets with an economy of 7.54. In the India- South Africa series he was also the second-highest wicket-taker with six in four matches. Against Ireland, he did the same and against England he took four wickets in two matches, getting their openers out with unplayable deliveries.
Stats however do not show the amount of pressure he puts on the opposition batters and nullifies whatever aggression they might have planned for.
