According to Aditya Dhar, the creators’ ambitious vision for ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ is unsuitable for Indian cinema. He said that no one has ever tried to achieve the level of VFX quality they intend to deliver. He therefore cannot produce the movie until India can afford the technology needed to realise the vision. He used James Cameron’s Avatar as an example.
