In her candid chat, Deepika Padukone expressed her and her actor husband Ranveer Singh‘s desire to instil in their kids the same values that her parents instilled in her. The actor talked about how her parents, Prakash and Ujjala Padukone, raised her and her sister, Anisha Padukone, in an interview with Vogue Singapore. She and Ranveer talked about starting a family of their own.
Praising her parents, Deepika said, “When I meet the people I have grown up with — my aunts, uncles, family friends — they always mention how I haven’t changed one bit. That reveals a lot about our childhood… It’s simple to get carried away by money and fame in this industry. At home, though, I’m treated like a nobody. Above all, I am a sister and a daughter. I hope that doesn’t alter. My family helps me stay grounded, and Ranveer and I want to teach our kids the same morals.”
Deepika Padukone gets candid:
Deepika Padukone responded when asked if she ever wanted to become a mother, she stated, “It is something she looks forward to then. Both Ranveer and I adore kids. We eagerly anticipate the day when we can begin a family of our own.”
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in Belgium in November of last year. After dating for six years, Ranveer and Deepika got married on November 14, 2018, at Lake Como in Italy. On the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic film Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, they had their first meeting. Later on, they appeared in Padmaavat and Bajirao Mastani as well.
Soon, Deepika will appear opposite Prabhas in the science fiction action movie Kalki 2898 AD. In addition, she stars opposite Hrithik Roshan in the aerial action film Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand, set for release on January 25, 2024. She will also appear in Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty. There will be Ranveer in the action movie as well.
