The 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup is all set to begin from 20th November as football fans get ready for another action-packed event. The tournament promises to be a mouth-watering affair as several football greats will grace the field for the last time in the football extravaganza. From 20th November to 18th December, all eyes will be set on ‘Qatar’, the first Arab country to host the mega football event.
France will look to defend their title this year having won the coveted trophy after beating Croatia in the finals of the 2018 edition of the FIFA World Cup. The grand event will feature 32 teams going head-to-head against each other to take their country to ultimate football glory. The 32 teams will be divided into eight groups of four teams each and the top two teams will qualify from each group for the pre-quarterfinals. The tournament will shift to knockout stages after the end of the group stage. Argentina and Brazil are heading into the tournament on a winning run and hence are being touted as ‘favourites’ to win the title.
