Shubman Gill has been trolled by a parody Twitter account of Swiggy. Apparently, Gill had made a Tweet about the business magnate Elon Musk acquiring the food delivery services company, Swiggy. He added that the acquisition must be done so that the company delivers food on time. “Elon musk, please buy swiggy so they can deliver on time,” tweeted Gill.

On the other hand, the parody account decided to troll him in return, and went on to remind the player about his low strike rate in T20 cricket. “We are still faster than your batting in T20 cricket,” the parody account Tweeted, while quoting Gill’s Tweet.

Talking about his strike rate in the shortest format of the game, he strikes the ball at 126.14, which doesn’t justify his talent. Besides, he hasn’t been able to regularly accelerate his innings in T20s. Meanwhile, the fans saw the tweet and tagged the official account of the company to take note of these things. One fan said ‘Brutal’. Another user uploaded a video of him getting clean bowled by Umran Malik from Hyderabad.

The video was captioned “You couldn’t handle when last time someone in orange jersey delivered fast”. Another user posted a photo of UK prime minister Boris Johnson with the caption “Swiggy’s face when making this terrific response”. Another user felt that Prithvi Shaw must be really happy after that Tweet. Another user schooled the parody account on how to behave with the cricketer.

Meanwhile, Gill is currently playing for the Indian T20 League debutants, Gujarat. This year, his strike rate has improved by a fair margin as he is striking the ball at 137.57, which is his career best. On the other hand, he has been inconsistent with the bat. The right-hander has scored 260 runs in nine games. In the earlier games, he scored two back-to-back fifties but has been able to carry on with the form gained in those games.
