Indian young superstar Shubman Gill is currently performing amazingly in the ongoing 16th edition of the Indian Premier League with the bat. He has already amassed 576 runs in just 13 games this season at a brilliant average of 48, and he is currently ranked second on the Orange cap list just behind Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Faf du Plessis, who has 631 runs in 12 games. In a recent match against Surisers Hyderabad (SRH), he also scored his first IPL century.
In the meantime, a video of Gill striking some Marvel superhero Spiderman poses for the paparazzi is becoming popular on social media. Atop a car, he struck some classic Spiderman poses. It’s interesting to note that Gill provided the Hindi and Punjabi voices for the main characters of the upcoming animated film “Indian Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse.”

It is being reported that Gill attended the trailer launch of the movie and donned an outstanding green printed shirt with white pants. Gill nailed the look with classical sunglasses which were the cherry on the cake. In a recent interview, Gill shared his excitement about watching the main character of the movie as he lent his own voice to the leading character named Pavitr Prabhakar.
“I have grown up watching Spider-Man, and he is one of the most relatable superheroes. Since the movie will be debuting the Indian Spider-Man for the first time on screen, getting to be the voice of our Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar, in the Hindi and Punjabi languages was such a remarkable experience for me. Already, I feel superhuman. I am eagerly anticipating the release of this movie.” Gill was quoted as saying by India Times.
The 23-year-old will return to action for GT’s final league game against RCB on Sunday, May 21 at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The squad led by Hardik Pandya has already qualified for the playoffs, whilst RCB still needs to win their final two games to do the same.
