In what seems to be a sigh of relief for Team India and the Indian cricket fans, the Indian Cricket Board has confirmed the progress in the rehabilitation of the injured players. Notably, these injured players are out of the national squad of India for the last couple of months.

The list includes the likes of star pacer Jasprit Bumrah, veteran opener KL Rahul, middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer and pacer Prasidh Krishna alongside star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant.

“He has made significant progress in his rehabilitation and has commenced batting as well as keeping in the nets. He is currently following a fitness program designed for him which includes strength, flexibility, and running,” read the official media release of the Indian Cricket Board on Rishabh Pant’s recovery.

Furthermore, the media release issued by the Indian Cricket Board also cleared the air on the recovery of star batters, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer. It stated that the medical team is quite satisfied with the progress in the recovery of both batters.

“They have resumed batting in the nets and are currently undergoing strength and fitness drills. The Indian Cricket Board Medical Team is satisfied with their progress and will increase their intensity in terms of both skills and strength and conditioning in the coming days,” the board statement adds further.

Notably, the star Indian pacer spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is not in action with Team India in international cricket for almost the last 10 months since 25 September 2022.
