Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are having a terrible time with the bat in the ongoing Indian T20 League 2022. Kohli has only amassed 119 runs in eight games including two back-to-back ducks against Lucknow and Hyderabad. This is his worst season since the inaugural season of the cash-rich league.

In 2008, the right-hander could only muster 165 runs in 13 games with a high score of 38. However, his poor form with the bat hasn’t had much of an impact on the Bangalore team as they are at the fourth spot in the points table with five wins in eight games. On the other hand, Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma is also having a tough time with the bat.

Sharma has only managed to score 114 runs in seven games, including the highest score of 41. This is his worst season with the bat since making his debut in 2008. Every year, he has scored more than 300 runs. His team is also struggling in the tournament as they are on the last spot in the points table with seven losses in as many games. They are also almost out of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the fan clubs of both players are notoriously famous for trolling at each other whenever either of the player fails in a game. Even last year, when Kohli was removed from ODI captaincy, fans from both clubs were having a go at each other. However, this time around, with the duo failing to live up to their standards, their fans have come together to support the players.

This is how Twitter urged people to support Kohli and Sharma
