Earlier, news outlets were buzzing about a video clip featuring actor Sunny Deol that had gone viral on social media. The actor was said to have appeared intoxicated while walking through the streets of Mumbai. The video has sparked concern among Deol fans, with some speculating that he was simply having fun, while others have expressed concern that he may be suffering from alcoholism. However, Echelon Productions, the producers of Gadar 2 star’s next tentatively titled Safar, have come out in support of Deol.
According to Echelon Productions, the clip was shot on the sets of the film Safar, in which Sunny Deol stars. When asked about the leaked Sunny Deol video, producer Vishal Rana of Echelon Production said, “It was a scene from our forthcoming tentatively titled film Safar for which Sunny Paaji was shooting a night schedule.” Mr. Rana also asked everyone in the statement to stop spreading such false information. “Request all the fans not to spread fake news around this video that is going viral on the internet,” he said in a statement. Sunny Deol, on the other hand, clarified on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying, “Afwaahon ka ‘Safar’ bas yahin tak.”
Sunny Deol dismisses rumours:
The video in question was shot in suburban Mumbai’s Juhu Circle, and it featured the actor struggling to walk while wearing a goofy smile on his face. He is then seen smiling and stopping in front of an auto-rickshaw, and the driver of the auto then assists him in getting seated inside the vehicle. Because the actor is known for his intense and serious onscreen persona, the video generated a lot of buzz on social media.
