As the finale of Bigg Boss 17 approaches, the show is becoming more intense with every new episode. As the housemates were still processing Samarth Jurel’s elimination, they needed to prepare for the first torture task of the season. You did indeed read correctly. Yesterday, we saw the most awaited task in Bigg Boss 17. The first half of the task took place and it was horrifying.
Upon splitting the housemates into two groups, Bigg Boss gave each team an assignment: the participants had to stay glued to their buzzer no matter what. Each member of the team would receive one nomination if they were to leave the buzzer. Arun Mashettey, Abhishek Kumar, Munawar Faruqui, and Mannara Chopra are shown in the video as a single team. With their strategies, the other team—Ayesha Khan, Vicky Jain, Isha Malviya, and Ankita Lokhande—is seen leaving the first team with tearful eyes. In the video, Mannara is the main target of Vicky, Isha, and Ayesha.
Bigg Boss 17 shows the ugly side of contestants:
They start the task by continuously hurling water at her. When they realised it wasn’t working on her, they began covering her face with red chilli paste. At this point, Munawar can be heard yelling in the background, “Inko lagta hai Mannara [Chopra] sabse easy target hai. Mannara Magar bohat strong hai. [They believe Mannara Chopra is an easy target for them, despite the fact that they are unaware of her strength]”. But that’s not all. Ankita Lokhande is seen plucking hard and applying wax strips to Abhishek Kumar’s face.
At this point, he says, “Vicky Bhai ka bhi time aayega. Yaad rakhna. [Remember Vicky bhai will also be at our place].” Vicky Jain, Ankita’s spouse, was mentioned by Abhishek, who also hinted that he would use similar strategies with him. Given that the grand finale is quickly approaching, it is safe to say that the housemates have stepped up their game. In the end, Mannara leaves the buzzer and Abhishek Kumar follows her.
Now, as per the insider report, Bigg Boss calls Munawar, Abhishek Mannara and Arun into the archive room, shows a video of the whole task and gives two options. He asks them to choose between nominating team B before 28 minutes or disqualifying them from the game before giving an opportunity to play. The report further states that Team A chose to disqualify Team B and therefore the contestants who got nominated this week are Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Ayesha Khan, and Isha Malviya.
