India and Chennai Super Kings all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja has faced a difficult situation in the ongoing IPL 2023. In the ongoing season, it is rumored that CSK skipper MS Dhoni is playing his last season. This has made fans desperate to watch him bat for one last time. However, the fans have taken it too far as they cheer for the fall of CSK wicket if Dhoni is the next to bat.

For the most time, Jadeja has been in the firing line of the fans. Whenever he hits a boundary, the fans don’t seem to be happy about it but when he gets out, they start cheering as Dhoni comes out to bat. Not to forget, the 2013 Champions Trophy winner expressed his disappointment about the crowds’ behavior when Dhoni isn’t batting the crease.

“When I bat at 7, the crowd is disappointed and chats for Mahi bhai. Imagine if I bat higher; they will just wait for me to get out,” Jadeja said after the post-match presentation after the game against Delhi Capitals on May 10.

Ravindra Jadeja praised CSK management for not having a bias against players

Meanwhile, early in the ongoing 16th season, the 2008 U19 World Cup winner praised the team for the way they treat their players. Not to forget, he and CSK were rumored to be breaking up after the captaincy fiasco last year. In the 2022 season, the left-hander lost his captaincy.

“CSK management and the owners (N Srinivasan) never put any pressure on any players. Even now after 11 years with CSK, they have the same attitude and the approach. They’ll never make you feel low even when you aren’t performing well,” Jadeja told ‘Star Sports’.

“There is no senior and junior kind of thing there. Even any youngster from U-19 will get the same respect and treatment like other senior players. No pressure at all. No biasness among any players, whether they are playing or not.”
