After registering their first win of the season against RoundGlass Punjab Bengaluru FC will be looking to continue their dominance against Blasters.
Winning the game will help Bengaluru’s hopes to qualify for the semifinals of the Super Cup 2023. Along with Bengaluru, Kerala Blasters and Sreenidi Deccan will be eyeing the semifinal spot. Notably, in the last game Men in Yellow were thrashed by Deccan outfit and they will be eager to make a comeback against Bengaluru FC.

Expressing his ambition for the upcoming game Bengaluru FC’s head coach Simon Grayson said that the team is looking to win the game on Sunday. He said, “It was nice to get the win and the clean sheet in the last game. But the focus firmly remains on what we need to do to win the next game. The significance of the game on Sunday makes it a massive game for us.”
Will Kerala Blasters break the jinx of losing against Bengaluru FC?
Talking about the head-to-head records of the Kerala Blasters against Bengaluru FC it is quite evident that the Blues have been dominant on the Yellow team. Blasters have clinched just three out of the 13 games they have played. On the other hand, Bengaluru FC has won eight matches against Kerala Blasters and will be looking to continue their dominance. However, the team can not take it easy as the Semifinals are at stake.
Talking about the same, Grayson said, “Whenever you play Kerala Blasters, you know that it’s a big game, for the bragging rights on the pitch and off it as well. It has all the ingredients of a fantastic game, with the spice of the rivalry, and I expect a good crowd in the stadium which we are all looking forward to.”
