Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu theatres on December 1. According to the Animal advance booking update shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Ranbir Kapoor film, which will compete with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur, has already sold a lakh tickets for its opening day in multiplexes alone.
Furthermore, according to Sacnilk.com, Animal has already earned more than 6 crores in advance ticket sales across all Indian theatres and languages. Taran Adarsh took to X on Monday and wrote, “Exclusive: Animal advance booking status at *national chains*… Nota bene: [Friday] day 1 tickets have been sold…The PVR-Inox value is 81,000. Cinepolis has a capacity of 19,000 people. “A total of 100,000 tickets were sold.” Check out the post below.

According to Sacnilk.com, the Hindi version of Animal has so far collected 5.87 crore in advance ticket sales for its first day, selling 1.76 lakh tickets for 5570 shows across the country. Animal’s Telugu version has earned 54.29 lakh and sold 33.4K tickets for 446 shows so far on Animal’s first day. Animal has also earned 32.7K in Tamil for day one across 20 shows, bringing the India total for Animal’s advance box office collection for day one to 6.42 crore with 20.9 lakh tickets sold.

Animal features key performances by Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri. Sandeep Vanga of Kabir Singh (2019) and Arjun Reddy (2017) fame directs the film, which is produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures. Animal’s advance booking opened on Saturday, about a week before its December 1 release date. Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur will clash with the pan-India film. In the biopic, Vicky Kaushal plays war hero Sam Manekshaw, alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh as late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and Sanya Malhotra as Sam’s wife, Silloo.
